This web site is a reflection of our personal
lives. We are sharing our painful story in hopes of keeping our son's memory
alive and to transform this terrible loss into positive action to
educate other young people. Both of these books have had a deep impact on us
and we would like to share them with any kind soul who has offered a helping
hand in this effort to create Jon's Memorial and Scholarship Fund.
If you would like to know more, one of these books
will be included with your cookies, free of charge. Mention your choice in
the drop down menu at checkout.
Chant and Be Happy
- the Power of Mantra Meditation
This book explains the method of prayer called mantra meditation. When our son
died, this mantra meditation was instrumental in helping us heal, emotionally
and mentally. The jagged wound in the heart and the panicked condition of the
mind was soothed by the application of the timeless spiritual principles
outlined in this book. These practices are not sectarian and can be used to
deepen the spiritual understanding and faith of followers of any religion.
The Higher Taste
- A guide to Gourmet Vegetarian Cooking and a Karma-Free Diet
Why Vegetarian? Eating vegetarian is eating low on the food chain, so it is
healthier. In fact vegetarians are 50% less likely to die of heart disease
than non-vegetarians are. A vegetarian lifestyle is compassionate... kinder
to the planet and kinder to other living entities as well. In terms of
calorie units per acre, a diet of grains, vegetables and beans will support
twenty times more people than a diet of meat. Besides that, we have been
vegetarians for more than 30 years and find it a pleasing lifestyle. We
would like to offer a vegetarian cookbook to anyone who might be interested
in finding out more about it.

the soul's incredible journey after death. A.C.
